Ukraine are through to the Grand Final at ENC 2010 following a 2-1 victory over Russia.
The Ukrainian side were the first to score, winning de_inferno, before seeing Russia level the tie with a win on de_dust2, but they eventually won the last map, de_train, to walk out winners in this semi-final CIS clash.
On de_inferno, Russia began better than their opponents, and managed to win the opening two rounds. However, Ukraine responded right after and equalised. The rest of the first half went both ways as neither side could prove their authority over the other, with Russia being up by one round at the break.
The second half brought a much stronger Ukraine, who were now playing as CT, as they stormed past their opposition to pick up a 9-2 score and thus a 16-10 result.
Both teams then moved on to de_dust2, where Ukraine got a good half as Terrorist, managing a 9-6 lead at the break. But Russia would prove a stronger side in offensive duties, and a 10-3 score put the tie 1-1.
On de_train, Ukraine got off to a great start as Terrorist, picking up the first four rounds, but Russia managed to get their things together and finish the first half up 10-5, a five-round lead that looked promising for the second session. However, Ukraine proved far too hot to handle as CT, and conceded just one round as they won the last map 16-11.
